ABOUT ME

Paige Borak is a Lebanese-American lighting designer, technician, and teacher in Las Vegas. She graduates in Spring 2025 with her MFA in Lighting Design at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas having taught three courses as the instructor of record and received her Graduate Teaching Certification. As a lighting designer with epilepsy, she's passionate about sensory-inclusive lighting design and is writing a meta-analysis of current research. Between techs, you may also see her busking lights at local clubs or mentoring high school theatre technicians through Rainbow Theatre Company.

Before the desert, she worked in Pittsburgh, PA as the resident lighting designer at Carnegie Stage from 2019-2022. She has designed for Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, Twelve Peers, fireWALL Dance Company, CLO, The Theatre Factory, and other Pittsburgh companies. Paige also taught Lighting Design for five years at the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts Middle and High School.
